Established over fifty years ago as Roadworks (1952) Ltd, since then Jackson Civil Engineering has continued to grow into one of the UK’s leading regional based civil engineering contractors, operating throughout most of England. We now work for a wide client base of both public sector bodies and private companies, carrying out a variety of works including major highways, bridges, sea and river defence, industrial, infrastructure and an ever increasing number of purely environmental schemes. Over the years contracts have grown in size and now range in value up to £50m on an individual project basis. We currently directly employ approx. 350 staff based throughout the country. During the last 54 years, the business has gained extensive experience in all forms of contracting including framework agreements and preferred contract partnering and has a strong order book and tender opportunity profile through 2007 and beyond.
